My friends and I were really inspired that we challenged ourselves to do what artist, Chris Ayers did, a doodle a day, 365 drawings in one year. Check out his story and his work at: www.chrisayersdesign.com
So, here's what I have so far. I'll try to post my doodle everyday. Enjoy!!

Since it was my good friend's, Pakie Seung, birthday, my first doodle is of her. Happy birthday, Pak!

I just got "The Art of Tangled" book, so I was inspired to draw my goddaughter as Rapunzel, since she's got that looong hair just like Rapunzel...not that long of course, but long enough! Good book, by the way.

I was playing with my nephew today and just watching his face as he talks to me, so I said why not? I was trying to play with different shapes and ways to make his face a bit more cartoony.

I went home to the Bay Area for Thanksgiving. After eating and eating so much, I just sat on the couch and watched as much Food Network as I can, since I don't have cable at my place. I've always liked watching triple D's (Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives) with host Guy Fieri. He was doing a triple D special on Thanksgiving. So I decided...Guy it is!

After having another delicious dinner with my girlfriend, we just sat down on her couch one night and chillaxed! I grabbed my drawing pad and started doodling her. Here I was playing with shapes and trying to push certain features and exaggerating them.

I was having dinner with my girlfriend's family for her mom's birthday, and her uncle turns to me and says "Aries, draw me. Lemme pose por you!" I borrowed her pen and drew him on the paper place mat. Sorry for the bad quality, I took it with a camera phone.

I went to a coffee shop one cold night and decided to draw my goddaughter. I exaggerated the eyes and made it even bigger. She's a silly one!

Need I say more? Gotta represent my pinoy brother!

I was going through my Zoonooz magazine and I figured okay why not do an animal this time. My friends say if I was an animal I'd be a rhino, so here's me!
your rhino is missing a hat
